Florsheim

Florsheim began in 1892 in a small factory in Chicago. The first pairs of Florshiem shoes were made by Milton Florshiem and his father, Sigmund. They were a remarkable combination of style, comfort and high quality workmanship. In 1926 Florshiem sold the first pair of square toed shoes in America. By 1966 there were a pair of Florshiem shoes sold every 4 seconds. Besides the level of quality it was the new approach to advertising and manufacturing that propelled Florshiem to the forefront of shoe making.

In 2010, Florsheim introduced two new additions to its portfolio of shoe lines. Florsheim by Duckie Brown, a partnership between Florsheim and the fashion-forward menswear designer, and Florsheim Limited, an premium collection that features modern reinterpretations of timeless classics.
